To describe a neighborhood in Italian, use:
C'è (there is — singular) and ci sono (there are — plural)
- C'è una farmacia vicino a casa mia. → There is a pharmacy near my house.
- Ci sono molti negozi in questa via. → There are many shops on this street.
Common location prepositions and adverbs:
- di fronte a → opposite / across from
- a due passi da → just a short walk from
- proprio di fronte → right across the street
- accanto a → next to
- vicino a → near / close to
- lontano da → far from
- all'angolo → on the corner
