De first conditional drukt een reële of zeer waarschijnlijke situatie in de toekomst uit. Deze structuur is ideaal om uit te leggen hoe een zorgstelsel of verzekering werkt.
Vorming
If + present simple, ... will + infinitief
If you have insurance, you can see a specialist directly.
If you need a referral, your GP will send one.
Voorbeelden over gezondheidszorg
- If you have insurance, you can see any doctor you want.
- If you don't register with a GP, you won't be able to get a referral.
- If the treatment is not covered, you will have to pay out of pocket.
- If you go to A&E, they will treat you regardless of your insurance.
Veelvoorkomende varianten
