Invitations with ~ませんか and ~ましょう
(Won't you...?) is used to politely invite someone: うちに来ませんか? (Won't you come to my place?). It is softer than ~ましょう because it leaves room to decline.
(Let's eat together). Use this when you expect agreement.
ぜひ (by all means) adds enthusiasm: ぜひ来てください (Please do come!). It shows strong invitation or acceptance.
Responding to invitations: Accept with いいですね、ぜひ (Sounds great, by all means!) or ぜひ行きたいです (I'd love to go). (Sorry, it's a bit...) — leaving the sentence unfinished is natural and polite.
Offering to bring something: 何か持っていきましょうか (Shall I bring something?). (You don't need to bring anything) or デザートをお願いします (Dessert, please).
