For DIY instructions, use the Imperativ and sequential connectors.
Imperativ forms:
- du-form: Schraub die Schraube fest! (Screw the screw tight!)
- ihr-form: Streicht die Wand! (Paint the wall!)
- Sie-form: Bohren Sie ein Loch! (Drill a hole!)
Sequential connectors:
- Zuerst ... (First...), dann ... (then...), danach ... (after that...), schließlich ... (finally...)
- Zuerst bohre ein Loch. Dann schraube die Schraube rein. Schließlich hänge das Regal auf.
Achte darauf, dass... (Make sure that...):
- Achte darauf, dass die Leiter stabil steht. (Make sure the ladder stands stable.)
