Present indicative for daily routines
In Spanish, the presente de indicativo is used to describe habits and routines — things you do regularly:
- yo → estudio → aprendo → escribo
- tú → estudias → aprendes → escribes
- él/ella → estudia → aprende → escribe
- nosotros → estudiamos → aprendemos → escribimos
- ellos/ustedes → estudian → aprenden → escriben
Example: "Estudio matemáticas todos los días." → "I study maths every day."
Example: "Mi profesor explica la lección por la mañana." → "My teacher explains the lesson in the morning."
School subjects
Spanish school subjects are almost always preceded by the definite article:
- las matemáticas — maths
- la historia — history
- las ciencias — science
- el inglés — English
- la educación física — PE
Example: "Mi asignatura favorita es la historia." → "My favourite subject is history."
Example: "Tenemos clase de ciencias los martes." → "We have science class on Tuesdays."

Tengo deberes mucho.Tengo muchos deberes.Mucho must agree with the noun (muchos deberes) and comes before it.
Mi nota es muy bueno.Mi nota es muy buena.Nota is feminine, so the adjective must be buena, not bueno.
El clase empieza a nueve.La clase empieza a las nueve.Clase is feminine (la clase), and times require the article: a las nueve.
Hago mi deberes.Hago mis deberes.Deberes is plural, so the possessive must also be plural: mis.
