चंद्रयान (chandrayaan) — lunar mission (literally "moon vehicle")
मंगलयान (mangalyaan) — Mars mission

Describing cosmic phenomena:

ब्लैक होल (black hole) — black hole (borrowed term)
तारामंडल (taaraandal) — constellation
सौर मंडल (saur mandal) — solar system

Complex sentences for scientific discussion:

यह माना जाता है कि (yah maanaa jaataa hai ki) — "it is believed that"
वैज्ञानिकों का कहना है कि (vaigyanikon kaa kahnaa hai ki) — "scientists say that"
