Opbouw van een betogend essay
Een goed essay in het Engels heeft een heldere structuur in drie delen: inleiding, kern en conclusie.
1. Inleiding
- Een pakkende opening om de aandacht te trekken
- Algemene context bij het onderwerp
- Stelling (thesis statement): jouw standpunt in één of twee zinnen

2. De kern van het essay (body paragraphs)
Elke alinea volgt de PEEL-structuur:
