To make a complaint in Spanish, it's important to know formal and informal registers:
Formal (written or speaking to a manager):
- No estoy satisfecho con... (I'm not satisfied with...)
- Me gustaría un reembolso. (I would like a refund.)
- Quisiera hablar con el encargado. (I would like to speak to the manager.)
Informal (conversation):
- Esto no es lo que pedí. (This is not what I ordered.)
- Quiero que me lo cambien. (I want it exchanged.)
No estoy satisfecho con la calidad del producto. Tiene un defecto.
(I'm not satisfied with the product quality. It has a defect.)
Me gustaría un reembolso. Aquí tiene el recibo.
(I would like a refund. Here is the receipt.)
Complaint structure: 1. State the problem 2. Show proof (receipt) 3. Request a solution (refund, exchange)
