Rhetorical structures for presentations
Giving a presentation in Spanish follows a clear pattern: introduction, development, conclusion.
Introduction
- Permítanme empezar por... (Allow me to start with...)
- Buenos días a todos. Hoy voy a hablar de... (Good morning everyone. Today I will talk about...)
- El objetivo de esta presentación es... (The objective of this presentation is...)
Structuring the development
- En primer lugar... (First of all...)
- A continuación... (Next...)
- Por otro lado... (On the other hand...)
- Como pueden ver en esta diapositiva... (As you can see on this slide...)
Conclusion
- Para concluir... (To conclude...)
- En resumen... (In summary...)
- Me gustaría destacar que... (I would like to highlight that...)
Audience interaction

Grammar note
Use the formal imperative (permítanme, vean) and polite subjunctive in these contexts.
