Demonstratives: questo / quello

In Italian, demonstratives agree in gender and number with the noun.

Questo/a (near — this/these) :

questo → masculine singular (questo vestito)
questa → feminine singular (questa camicia)
questi → masculine plural (questi pantaloni)
queste → feminine plural (queste scarpe)

Quello/a (far — that/those) :

quello → masculine singular (quello stile)
quella → feminine singular (quella giacca)
quelli → masculine plural (quelli stivali)
quelle → feminine plural (quelle scarpe)

💬 Esempio: "Questo vestito è bellissimo!" → "This dress is beautiful!"
💬 Esempio: "Quella giacca è troppo cara." → "That jacket is too expensive."
💬 Esempio: "Questi pantaloni sono stretti." → "These trousers are tight."

pantaloni is plural so the verb must be plural: vanno

In Italian you say la taglia media, not medium
~~Questa maglietta è troppo piccola per me.~~
Questa maglietta mi sta stretta.
"Mi sta stretta" is the natural expression for a tight garment
~~Voglio comprare un vestiti.~~
Voglio comprare un vestito. / dei vestiti.
"Un" + singular "vestito" or "dei" + plural "vestiti"
