Describing Technical Problems in Hindi
Use काम नहीं कर रहा/रही (kaam nahīn kar rahā/rahī) to say something is not working:
... काम नहीं कर रहा/रही है — ... is not working
मेरा कंप्यूटर काम नहीं कर रहा है। — My computer is not working.
मेरी स्क्रीन काम नहीं कर रही है। — My screen is not working.
Note: Use रहा for masculine nouns and रही for feminine nouns.
... बंद हो गया/गई (band ho gayā/gayī) — ... shut down / turned off
मेरा फ़ोन अचानक बंद हो गया। — My phone suddenly shut down.
... नहीं खुल रहा/रही (nahīn khul rahā/rahī) — ... won't open
यह फ़ाइल नहीं खुल रही है। — This file won't open.
... धीमा चल रहा है (dhīmā chal rahā hai) — ... is running slowly
इंटरनेट बहुत धीमा चल रहा है। — The internet is running very slowly.
... हैंग हो रहा है (hang ho rahā hai) — ... is freezing/hanging
मेरा लैपटॉप बार-बार हैंग हो रहा है। — My laptop keeps freezing.
