Questioning and Drawing Logical Conclusions
Discussing technology ethics requires grammar for raising questions, examining whether something is appropriate, and drawing logical conclusions from evidence.
かどうか introduces an indirect question, "whether or not": AIが公正かどうかは重要な問題だ (Whether AI is fair or not is an important question). This is essential for framing ethical debates.
について疑問が生じる means "questions arise about": データの使用方法について疑問が生じる (Questions arise about how data is used). This formal pattern introduces topics of concern.
わけだ draws a logical conclusion from what has been stated: つまり、プライバシーが侵害されているわけだ (In other words, privacy is being violated). It means "that means" or "so it follows that."
ことになる expresses a logical consequence or result: 規制がなければ、企業が自由にデータを使うことになる (Without regulation, it means companies can freely use data). It shows what will logically follow from a given situation.
These patterns allow you to engage in sophisticated ethical discussions about technology, privacy, and the impact of AI on society.
