Two essential B1 patterns for discussing trends and conditions:
越来越... (yuè lái yuè...) — more and more...
- 社交媒体越来越流行。(Shèjiāo méitǐ yuè lái yuè liúxíng.) — Social media is becoming more and more popular.
- 用户越来越年轻。(Yònghù yuè lái yuè niánqīng.) — Users are getting younger and younger.
越...越... (yuè...yuè...) — the more... the more...
- 你越用，就越依赖它。(Nǐ yuè yòng, jiù yuè yīlài tā.) — The more you use it, the more dependent you become.
- 内容越多，注意力越分散。(Nèiróng yuè duō, zhùyìlì yuè fēnsàn.) — The more content there is, the more scattered attention becomes.
要是...的话... (yàoshi...de huà...) — if... (conditional, casual)
- 要是不加限制的话，会影响健康。(Yàoshi bù jiā xiànzhì de huà, huì yǐngxiǎng jiànkāng.) — If there are no limits, it will affect health.
Key tip: 越来越 is followed by one adjective; 越...越... links two parallel changes.

Veelgemaakte fouten
越来越很流行。越来越流行。越来越 already intensifies the adjective — do not add 很 or it becomes double-intensified.
你越用越，就停不下来。你越用，就越停不下来。The second 越 belongs before the second adjective/verb, not placed randomly after the first verb.
要是使用的话好处很多。要是合理使用的话，好处很多。The condition needs a specific qualifier (like 合理) to be meaningful — vague conditions sound incomplete.
社交媒体影响越来越我们。社交媒体越来越影响我们。越来越 must come directly before the verb it modifies — do not place it after the verb.
越越看，越越喜欢。越看，越喜欢。Each 越 appears only once per clause — do not double it.
