Describing the weather
Use the pattern: Time + Weather condition
- 今天很热。— Today is very hot.
- 明天下雨。— It will rain tomorrow.
- 现在刮风。— It's windy now.
Weather verbs
Some weather words use verbs:
- 下雨 (xià yǔ) — rain falls (lit. "descend rain")
- 下雪 (xià xuě) — snow falls (lit. "descend snow")
- 刮风 (guā fēng) — wind blows
These are verb phrases, not adjectives. Do NOT use 很 with them.

Temperature
- 今天多少度？— What temperature is it today?
- 今天二十度。— It's 20 degrees today.
- 度 (dù) = degree

- 明天会下雨吗？Ask if it will rain tomorrow
