Rhetorical structures for presentations
Giving a presentation in Spanish follows a clear pattern: introduction, development, conclusion.
Introduction
- *Permítanme empezar por...* (Allow me to start with...)
- *Buenos días a todos. Hoy voy a hablar de...* (Good morning everyone. Today I will talk about...)
- *El objetivo de esta presentación es...* (The objective of this presentation is...)
Structuring the development
- *En primer lugar...* (First of all...)
- *A continuación...* (Next...)
- *Por otro lado...* (On the other hand...)
- *Como pueden ver en esta diapositiva...* (As you can see on this slide...)
Conclusion
- *Para concluir...* (To conclude...)
- *En resumen...* (In summary...)

Audience interaction

Grammar note
Use the formal imperative (*permítanme*, *vean*) and polite subjunctive in these contexts.
