Expressing Restrictions
Ser + adjective for identity:
- *Sou vegetariano/a.* — I'm vegetarian.
- *Sou vegano/a.* — I'm vegan.
Ter + noun for conditions:
- *Tenho alergia ao marisco.* — I'm allergic to shellfish.
- *Tenho intolerância à lactose.* — I'm lactose intolerant.
Não poder + infinitive for what you can't eat:
- *Não posso comer glúten.* — I can't eat gluten.
- *Não posso beber leite.* — I can't drink milk.
Asking About Ingredients
