Conditional sentences for hypothetical scenarios:

*Gdybyśmy ograniczyli emisje, klimat by się ustabilizował.* — If we reduced emissions, the climate would stabilize.
*Gdyby każdy segregował odpady, recykling byłby skuteczniejszy.* — If everyone sorted waste, recycling would be more effective.

Future tense in predictions:

*Temperatura wzrośnie o dwa stopnie do 2050 roku.* — Temperature will rise by two degrees by 2050.
*Gatunki będą zagrożone w wyniku zmian klimatycznych.* — Species will be threatened as a result of climate change.

Causal clauses:

*Zanieczyszczenie rośnie, bo/dlatego że fabryki nie spełniają norm.* — Pollution is growing because factories do not meet standards.
*Skutkiem czego ekosystemy są zagrożone.* — As a result of which, ecosystems are at risk.

Zmiany klimatyczne stanowią zagrożenie.Climate change constitutes a threat.
Należy ograniczyć emisję CO2.CO2 emissions must be reduced.
Zrównoważony rozwój jest konieczny.Sustainable development is necessary.
