At the Pharmacy

Asking for medicine:

*Poproszę coś na ból głowy.* → I'd like something for a headache.
*Czy to jest bez recepty?* → Is this available without a prescription?
*Ile razy dziennie?* → How many times a day?

Dosage instructions:

*raz dziennie* → once a day
*dwa razy dziennie* → twice a day
*trzy razy dziennie* → three times a day
*przed jedzeniem / po jedzeniu* → before/after eating

Common medicines:

*aspiryna* → aspirin
*ibuprofen* → ibuprofen
*antybiotyk* → antibiotic

Poproszę coś na kaszel.I would like something for a cough.
Czy mają państwo ibuprofen?Do you have ibuprofen? (formal plural)
To jest na receptę?Is this prescription only?
Ile tabletek brać dziennie?How many tablets to take daily?

Poproszę coś na ból głowy
Use coś (something) when you don't know the specific medicine name. Both are acceptable but coś is more natural at a pharmacy.

Brać tabletki raz dziennie
raz dziennie (once daily) typically goes with plural: brać tabletki. Also tabletka needs accusative plural: tabletki
~~Mam recepty od doktor~~
Mam receptę od lekarza
recepty is genitive; after mieć use accusative: receptę. Also lekarza (genitive) not doktor
