Concession structures:

- *Desalniettemin blijft het een feit dat...* (Nevertheless it remains a fact that...)
- *Hoewel dit argument enige grond heeft, overtuigt het niet volledig.* (Although this argument has some merit, it does not fully convince.)
Strengthening your position:
- *Het staat buiten kijf dat...* (It is beyond dispute that...)
- *De bewijslast is overweldigend.* (The burden of proof is overwhelming.)
- *Dit wordt ondersteund door meerdere studies.* (This is supported by multiple studies.)
Countering objections gracefully:
- *Ik erken dat..., maar...* (I acknowledge that..., but...)
- *Men zou kunnen tegenwerpen dat..., echter...* (One could object that..., however...)
- *Dit bezwaar gaat voorbij aan het feit dat...* (This objection overlooks the fact that...)
The key is balancing concession with firmness, showing you understand the opposing view while defending your own.
