连…都/也 to emphasize small gestures:
- 连打招呼都不愿意，真让人尴尬。(lián dǎ zhāohu dōu bù yuànyì, zhēn ràng rén gāngà) — Not even willing to say hello — it's really awkward.
要是…的话 for hypothetical neighbor situations:
- 要是邻居太吵的话，我会去跟他们协商。(yàoshi línjū tài chǎo de huà, wǒ huì qù gēn tāmen xiéshāng) — If the neighbors are too noisy, I will go negotiate with them.
Useful neighbor interaction phrases:
- 能不能把音量调小一点？(néng bu néng bǎ yīnliàng tiáo xiǎo yīdiǎn) — Could you turn down the volume a bit?
- 我们应该互相尊重。(wǒmen yīnggāi hùxiāng zūnzhòng) — We should respect each other.
- 有什么问题可以直接说。(yǒu shénme wèntí kěyǐ zhíjiē shuō) — If there's an issue, just say it directly.
표현
- 我们楼上的邻居太吵了The neighbors upstairs are too noisy
- 我打算和他们协商一下I plan to have a talk with them
- 我们相处得还不错We get along pretty well
- 有问题互相说就好了If there's an issue, just tell each other
- 能不能少制造点噪音？Could you make a bit less noise?
자주 하는 실수
邻居们和我相处好。我和邻居们相处得很好。相处 needs the complement marker 得 to describe the quality of the relationship — 相处得很好. Also, I should be the subject.
他们的噪音让我睡不着觉地。他们的噪音让我睡不着觉。No 地 after a result verb phrase — 睡不着觉 is already a potential complement. Drop 地.
我想去协商和他们。我想去和他们协商。和 (with) should come before the verb 协商 — 和他们协商 (negotiate with them).
我们应该互相地尊重。我们应该互相尊重。互相 is already an adverb — no 地 needed between 互相 and 尊重.
我把投诉他们了。我去投诉他们了。投诉 (complain about) takes a person as direct object without 把 — use 投诉他们 or 去投诉他们.
