C1 स्तर पर थीसिस का बचाव केवल कोई पक्ष रखने तक सीमित नहीं है। आपको उसे साक्ष्य से पुष्ट करना, आपत्तियों का अनुमान लगाना और उनका कठोरता से उत्तर देना होता है।
मज़बूत तर्क की संरचना:
1. Claim (affirmation): आपका स्पष्ट और सटीक पक्ष 2. Evidence (proof): डेटा, उद्धरण, तथ्य 3. Warrant (justification): साक्ष्य और दावे के बीच तार्किक संबंध 4. Concession + Rebuttal: सीमा को स्वीकार करना, फिर उसका उत्तर देना
अकादमिक hedging: अपने दावों को सावधानी से सीमित करना विडंबनापूर्वक विश्वसनीयता बढ़ाता है।
