अकादमिक अंग्रेज़ी में स्रोतों का उद्धरण देना
स्रोतों का सही उद्धरण देना मूलभूत नैतिक और अकादमिक दायित्व है। अंग्रेज़ी प्रकाशनों में उद्धरण की दो प्रणालियाँ प्रमुख हैं:
APA (American Psychological Association) — मनोविज्ञान, सामाजिक विज्ञान और शिक्षा में प्रयुक्त:
- पाठ में: (Smith, 2021, p. 45) या Smith (2021) argues that...
- ग्रंथसूची में: Smith, J. (2021). Title of work. Publisher.
MLA (Modern Language Association) — साहित्य, कला और मानविकी में प्रयुक्त:

श्रेय देने की अभिव्यक्तियाँ
उद्धरण या विचार को सहजता से शामिल करने के लिए:

"Many researchers" अस्पष्ट है; अकादमिक लेखन में अधिक सटीक परिमाणवाचक प्रयोग करें।

"Comes from" बहुत अनौपचारिक है; "is drawn from" या "originates in" जैसी सटीक अकादमिक क्रियाएँ लें।
