Transhumanism challenges us to speak about futures that do not yet exist. Korean handles speculative language through conditional hypotheticals and future nominalizations. The structure 만약 ~다면 opens speculative arguments: 만약 의식 업로드가 가능해진다면, 죽음의 의미가 달라질 것이다 (If mind uploading becomes possible, the meaning of death will change). Use ~(으)ㄹ 것이다 for confident predictions and ~(으)ㄹ 수 있을 것이다 for more hedged possibilities. 초인간주의 raises profound ethical questions: does enhancing cognition constitute genuine progress or a violation of what makes us human? The term 기술적 특이점 (technological singularity) is used when AI recursively improves itself beyond human control. Mastering this vocabulary lets you engage seriously with one of the defining intellectual debates of our era.
常见错误
AI가 인간보다 더 똑똑할 거야AI가 인간의 인지 능력을 초월할 가능성이 있습니다더 똑똑하다 is colloquial and imprecise. 인지 능력을 초월하다 (to surpass cognitive capacity) is the academic phrasing appropriate for discussing technological singularity.
유전자를 바꾸면 더 나은 사람이 된다유전자 편집은 인간 능력 향상에 기여할 수 있지만 윤리적 우려도 제기됩니다The original is simplistic and lacks nuance. C2 discourse requires acknowledging both the potential and the ethical concerns simultaneously.
만약 불멸이 가능하다면 좋겠다만약 디지털 불멸이 실현 가능해진다면, 인간 정체성에 대한 근본적 재고가 필요할 것입니다좋겠다 is too personal and shallow. C2 level demands that you connect the hypothesis to its philosophical implications using 재고가 필요하다 (reconsideration would be necessary).
초인간주의는 좋은 생각이에요초인간주의는 가능성과 위험성을 동시에 내포한 복합적인 사상입니다Evaluating transhumanism as simply 좋다 fails C2 standards. The correct approach is to characterize it as 복합적인 (complex), holding contradictory elements simultaneously.
뇌와 컴퓨터를 합치면 어떨까요뇌-컴퓨터 인터페이스의 발전이 인간 경험을 어떻게 재구성할지가 핵심 과제입니다어떨까요 is an informal musing. At C2, speculative questions should be posed as analytical challenges using 재구성하다 (to restructure) and 핵심 과제 (key challenge).
