语气与文风：为读者调整风格

在高级英语写作中，内容本身还不够；如何传递信息同样关键。tone 是作者隐含的态度，voice 是作者独特的文体身份。

主要语域

• Formal / authoritative — 长句、正式词汇、常用被动语态，与读者保持距离。

It is widely acknowledged that climate change poses an unprecedented threat.

• Conversational / engaged — 缩略形式、直接提问和与读者互动。

Let's be honest: we've all ignored a safety warning at some point.

• Detached / analytical — 呈现事实、使用中性动词、避免明显评价。

The data indicates a 12 % decline over the reported period.

书面英语中的反讽

反讽建立在字面意义与隐含意义的差距上：

• understatement：“Losing the entire database was a minor inconvenience.”
• litotes：“Not exactly a resounding success.”
• 在正式语境中插入口语词造成语域反差。

注意：在职场或跨文化场景中，书面反讽有风险，读者未必能识别。
