作为消费者，要维护自己的权益，你需要使用正式而坚定的表达。
You are entitled to…（你有权……）
- You are entitled to a full refund. → 你有权获得全额退款。
- Under this warranty, you are entitled to a free repair. → 根据这份保修，你有权获得免费维修。
In accordance with…（根据……）
- In accordance with consumer protection regulations… → 根据消费者保护法规……
- In accordance with the Sale of Goods Act… → 根据《货物销售法》……
其他实用表达
- I would like to file a complaint. → 我想正式提出投诉。
- This product is not fit for purpose. → 该产品不适合其预定用途。
- I am within my rights to… → 我有权……
- I would like to escalate this matter. → 我想将此事升级处理。
提示： 在英语中，礼貌但坚定是关键。在正式投诉中，"I would like to" 比 "I want to" 更得体也更有效。
表达

常见错误
I have the right of a refundI am entitled to a refund应说「entitled to」，而不是「have the right of」。「Entitled to」是标准法律表达。
I want to make a complaintI would like to file a complaint「File a complaint」是更正式的表达；「make a complaint」没那么专业。
The product has a defect of fabricationThe product has a manufacturing defect应说「manufacturing defect」，而不是「defect of fabrication」；后者是受法语影响的直译。
I bought it since two weeksI bought it two weeks ago表示过去某个具体时间时用「ago」，不用「since」；「since」用于持续到现在的情况。
I want to claim a refund for this product.I want to request a refund for this product.「Claim a refund」也可用，尤其在英式英语；此处用「request a refund」更中性，强调提出请求。
The product does not work good.The product does not work well.动词「work」应由副词「well」修饰，不能用形容词「good」。
