英语里的数量表达
英语说数量时，会按食物的种类配不同的说法。
好消息：中文本来就有「一把」「一条」「一罐」这样的量词，这套思路你早就熟悉了。真正要新学的是可数和不可数的区分——中文里没有这条线。
可数名词的数量
- a dozen eggs → 一打鸡蛋
- a bunch of carrots → 一把胡萝卜
- a bunch of bananas → 一串香蕉
- a loaf of bread → 一整条面包
- a slice of bread → 一片面包
不可数名词的数量
- a bag of flour → 一袋面粉
- a jar of honey → 一罐蜂蜜
- a tin of tomatoes → 一听番茄
- a carton of milk → 一盒牛奶
- a bottle of olive oil → 一瓶橄榄油
Some / Any / How much / How many
- How many apples do you need? → 你要几个苹果？（可数）
- How much flour is there? → 有多少面粉？（不可数）
- I need some tomatoes. → 我要买点番茄。
- Do you have any fresh herbs? → 你们有新鲜香草吗？
记住：some 用在肯定句，any 用在疑问句和否定句。
表达
- I'd like a bunch of carrots买东西时说明数量
- How many potatoes do you need?询问可数东西的数量
- How much does it cost in total?问一共多少钱
- Are these tomatoes fresh?确认摊上的东西新不新鲜
- I'll take a dozen, please说自己要一打
- That's a real bargain!说这个真划算
- Can I try a sample first?问能不能先尝一口
- Do you have anything cheaper?问有没有便宜一点的
