Modals of deduction express probabilities and certainties, essential for discussing the future of education.
- Debe de ser (strong probability):
Debe de ser difícil estudiar en línea. — It must be difficult to study online.
- No puede haber (impossibility):
No puede haber educación de calidad sin inversión. — There can't be quality education without investment.
- Podría haber sido (past possibility):
Podría haber sido mejor con más tecnología. — It could have been better with more technology.
- Tiene que ser (logical certainty):
Tiene que ser el futuro de la enseñanza. — It has to be the future of teaching.
Note: debe de (probability) vs debe without de (obligation).
