To write a review in German, you need causal connectors to explain reasons and consequences.
weil (because) — subordinate clause, verb at end:
- Ich empfehle das Restaurant, weil der Service ausgezeichnet war. (I recommend the restaurant because the service was excellent.)
deshalb / daher (therefore) — main clause, verb in position 2:
- Der Service war schlecht. Deshalb bin ich enttäuscht. (The service was bad. Therefore I am disappointed.)
da (since/as) — formal alternative to weil, also verb at end:
- Da die Qualität gut ist, empfehle ich es. (Since the quality is good, I recommend it.)
Useful review structures:
- Insgesamt war die Erfahrung positiv / negativ. (Overall, the experience was positive / negative.)
- Ich würde es weiterempfehlen. (I would recommend it to others.)
- Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist gut. (The price-performance ratio is good.)
