This lesson covers digital life vocabulary and expressing habits with frequency adverbs.
Talking about online habits: Je passe beaucoup de temps sur les réseaux sociaux (I spend a lot of time on social media). Use passer du temps à + infinitif: Je passe du temps à regarder des vidéos (I spend time watching videos).
Frequency adverbs: toujours (always), souvent (often), parfois / quelquefois (sometimes), rarement (rarely), jamais (never). They usually go after the conjugated verb: Je vérifie souvent mes notifications (I often check my notifications).
Ne… jamais: Je ne publie jamais de photos personnelles (I never post personal photos). Remember: de replaces des in negative sentences.
Expressing opinion about technology: Je trouve que les réseaux sociaux sont… (I find that social media is…), Il me semble que… (It seems to me that…).
Digital well-being vocabulary: la dépendance (addiction), une détox numérique (digital detox), le temps d'écran (screen time), débrancher (to unplug).

Je vérifie mes notifications souvent.Je vérifie souvent mes notifications.Frequency adverbs usually go after the conjugated verb, before the object.
C'est devenu un habitude.C'est devenu une habitude.Habitude is feminine: une habitude, not un habitude. The h is silent but the gender is feminine.
