Типичные ошибки

• ✗但是虽然有优点，也有缺点。
  ✓虽然有优点，但是也有缺点。

  虽然 must start the concession clause, 但是 begins the main clause — never swap their order.

• ✗不但好，而且。
  ✓不但好，而且很实用。

  而且 must be followed by a complete idea — do not leave it dangling without content.

• ✗它的优点贵。
  ✓它的缺点是贵。

  贵 (expensive) is a drawback, not an advantage — use 缺点 here.

• ✗一方面省钱，一方面省时间。
  ✓一方面省钱，另一方面省时间。

  The second half needs 另一方面 (the other hand), not a repeated 一方面.

• ✗虽然但是很好。
  ✓虽然有困难，但是效果很好。

  虽然 and 但是 each need their own full clause — you cannot skip the content between them.
