"He perdido mi..." and "Alguien me ha robado..."

In Spanish, to report a problem during a trip, we use the pretérito perfecto (present perfect). This tense is formed with haber + participio.

The verb haber conjugates like this:

Yo he → I have
Tú has → You have
Él/Ella ha → He/She has
Nosotros hemos → We have
Ellos/Ellas han → They have

Common past participles for travel problems:

perdido (from perder) → lost
robado (from robar) → stolen
roto (from romper) → broken

Example: "He perdido mi pasaporte." → "I have lost my passport."
Example: "Alguien me ha robado la cartera." → "Someone has stolen my wallet."

Asking for help

When you need help, use these structures:

Necesito ayuda → I need help
¿Puede ayudarme? → Can you help me?
¿Dónde está la comisaría más cercana? → Where is the nearest police station?
Quiero poner una denuncia → I want to file a police report

Example: "Necesito ayuda, alguien me ha robado el teléfono." → "I need help, someone has stolen my phone."
Example: "¿Dónde está la embajada?" → "Where is the embassy?"

자주 하는 실수

In Spanish, nothing goes between haber and the past participle.
~~¿Dónde es la comisaría?~~
¿Dónde está la comisaría?
Use estar (not ser) for locations.
~~Alguien ha robado me la cartera~~
Alguien me ha robado la cartera
The pronoun me goes before the conjugated verb haber.
~~He perdido el cartera~~
He perdido la cartera
Cartera is feminine: la cartera, not el cartera.
~~Quiero poner un denuncia~~
Quiero poner una denuncia
Denuncia is feminine: una denuncia, not un denuncia.
