Inviting someone

To invite someone in Spanish, use ¿Te gustaría...? (Would you like to...?):

Example: "¿Te gustaría venir a cenar el sábado?" → "Would you like to come to dinner on Saturday?"
Example: "¿Te gustaría probar mi receta casera?" → "Would you like to try my homemade recipe?"

For more formal invitations, use ¿Le gustaría...? (usted form):

Example: "¿Le gustaría acompañarnos a cenar?" → "Would you like to join us for dinner?"

Accepting politely

¡Me encantaría! → I would love to!
¡Claro que sí! → Of course!
Con mucho gusto → With great pleasure
¡Qué buena idea! → What a great idea!

Declining politely

Me encantaría, pero no puedo → I would love to, but I cannot
Lo siento, ya tengo planes → I am sorry, I already have plans
¿Podemos dejarlo para otro día? → Can we leave it for another day?
Qué pena, ese día no puedo → What a shame, I cannot that day

자주 하는 실수

¿Te gustaría venir a cenar?
Gusta expresses a general like. For an invitation, use the conditional gustaría (would you like).
~~El invitado preparó la cena~~
El anfitrión preparó la cena
The invitado is the guest, not the host. The one who prepares is the anfitrión.
~~Soy lleno, gracias~~
Estoy lleno, gracias
In Spanish you say estoy lleno (I am full), not soy lleno. Ser vs estar matters here.

Gracias por la invitación
Invita is informal slang. The correct noun is invitación.
~~¿Puedo traer cualquier cosa?~~
¿Puedo traer algo?
Cualquier cosa means anything (too vague). Use algo (something) to offer politely.
