Editing in Polish requires disciplined elimination of *nadmiar slow* (wordiness). Common errors: tautologies (*cofac sie do tylu* - redundant), pleonasms (*fakt, ze* instead of *to, ze*), and empty intensifiers (*bardzo duzy* when *ogromny* suffices). Good editing also improves sentence rhythm: vary length, avoid consecutive passive constructions, ensure each *akapit tematyczny* has a clear topic sentence. *Spojniki logiczne* (moreover, nevertheless, consequently) create cohesion. Final proofreading catches grammatical errors: verb aspect, case endings, and punctuation around subordinate clauses.
