Polish academic writing (*pismo naukowe*) follows strict conventions. Hedging language signals scholarly caution: *wydaje sie, ze* (it seems that), *mozna zakladac, iz* (one may assume that), *badania wskazuja na* (research indicates). Citation systems: Polish humanities use footnotes (*przyp. dolne*) while social sciences use author-date (APA). Passive voice is standard: *zostalo wykazane* (it has been demonstrated). *Styl bezosobowy* (impersonal style) dominates: *nalezy stwierdzic* (it must be stated). The *przeglad literatury* contextualizes research within existing scholarship.
