Imperative mood for instructions:

Dodaj... = Add... (e.g. Dodaj sól.)
Wymieszaj... = Mix... (e.g. Wymieszaj składniki.)
Pokrój... = Cut... (e.g. Pokrój cebulę.)
Podgrzej... = Heat... (e.g. Podgrzej piekarnik.)
Gotuj przez... = Cook for... (e.g. Gotuj przez 20 minut.)

Sequencing in recipes:

Najpierw obierz ziemniaki. = First, peel the potatoes.
Następnie pokrój je w kostkę. = Then cut them into cubes.
Potem dodaj cebulę. = After that, add the onion.
Na koniec dopraw solą i pieprzem. = Finally, season with salt and pepper.
