Key grammar points:

-되었다 — Passive perfect for scientific achievements.
새로운 행성이 발견되었다. (A new planet has been discovered.)
탐사선이 화성에 착륙되었다. (The probe has landed on Mars.)
-(으)ㄹ 가능성이 있다 — Scientific speculation about space.
화성에 생명체가 존재할 가능성이 있다. (There is a possibility that life exists on Mars.)
-았/었더라면 — Reflecting on alternative space history.
더 많은 예산이 있었더라면 달 기지를 건설할 수 있었을 것이다. (If there had been more funding, a lunar base could have been built.)
-ㄴ/은 것이 틀림없다 — Drawing certain conclusions from space data.
이 신호가 외계에서 온 것이 틀림없다. (This signal must have come from outer space.)

Note: Korea has its own space agency (한국항공우주연구원) and has launched multiple satellites. Korean space vocabulary often uses Sino-Korean terms.

Scientific reporting uses formal 합니다체 (-습니다), not the casual 해요체 (-어요). Match the register to the topic.

For scientific speculation use -(으)ㄹ 가능성이 있다, not the simple future -(으)ㄹ 거예요, which just states a plan or guess.

A past counterfactual needs -았/었더라면 ('if ... had'). -아서/어서 states a real cause, which breaks the 'what could have been' meaning.

착륙하다 (to land) marks the arrival point with 에, not 에서. 에서 is for where an action happens, not the destination you land on.
