Startup culture has a rich Korean vocabulary. -(으)ㄹ 리가 없다 counters pessimism: 이 사업 모델이 실패할 리가 없어요. (There is no way this business model will fail.)
-ㄴ/은 것이 틀림없다 confirms sound strategy: 시장 조사를 충분히 했기 때문에 성공할 것이 틀림없습니다.
-(으)ㄹ 필요가 있다 outlines what is needed: 투자를 유치하기 전에 확장성을 증명할 필요가 있습니다.
-았/었더라면 analyses past decisions: 더 일찍 피벗했더라면 성장이 빨랐을 거예요.
Korean startup culture is heavily influenced by 실리콘밸리 (Silicon Valley) vocabulary. The verb 피벗하다 (to pivot), 스케일업하다 (to scale up), and 엑시트하다 (to exit) are commonly used. Note that 창업 specifically means starting a new business, not just working at a startup.
