Use -(으)ㄹ 수 있도록 (so that one can) for stating purpose at government offices:
- 등록할 수 있도록 서류를 가져왔어요. → *I brought documents so that I can register.*
-을/를 제출하다 (to submit):
- 신청서를 제출해야 해요. → *I need to submit the application form.*
-에 등록하다 (to register for):
- 외국인 등록증을 신청하고 싶어요. → *I'd like to apply for an alien registration card.*
For foreigners in Korea: 구청에 먼저 가세요 (Go to the district office first), 어떤 서류가 필요해요? (What documents are needed?), 처리 기간이 얼마나 걸려요? (How long does processing take?)
