  Do not combine だ and である. Use である alone for na-adjectives.

• ✗会議にいて報告した。
  ✓会議において報告した。

  The correct form is において, not にいて.

• ✗この問題を関して調査した。
  ✓この問題に関して調査した。

  に関して takes the particle に, not を.

• ✗データを基づいて分析した。
  ✓データに基づいて分析した。

  に基づいて takes the particle に, not を.

• ✗報告書を提出しました。
  ✓報告書を提出した。

  In である style reports, use plain form (した), not polite form (しました).
