Ordering at a Restaurant
Asking for the menu:
💬 "मेनू लाइए।" (menū lāie.) → "Please bring the menu."
💬 "आज का स्पेशल क्या है?" (āj kā special kyā hai?) → "What is today's special?"
Ordering food — मुझे ... चाहिए:
💬 "मुझे एक दाल मखनी चाहिए।" → "I would like one dal makhani."
💬 "मुझे पनीर टिक्का चाहिए।" → "I would like paneer tikka."
Asking about the dish:
💬 "क्या यह तीखा है?" (kyā yah tīkhā hai?) → "Is this spicy?"
💬 "इसमें मांस है?" (isme māṅs hai?) → "Does this have meat in it?"
Saying it was delicious:
💬 "खाना बहुत स्वादिष्ट था!" (khānā bahut svādiṣṭ thā!) → "The food was very delicious!"
Key restaurant phrases:
