When looking for a flat, use als (if) to express conditions: *Als het appartement gemeubileerd is, neem ik het* (If the apartment is furnished, I'll take it). Notice that after als, the verb goes to the end of the clause. To state requirements: *Ik zoek een appartement met twee slaapkamers* (I'm looking for an apartment with two bedrooms). Ask about availability: *Is het appartement nog beschikbaar?* (Is the apartment still available?). For price: *Wat is de huurprijs per maand?* (What's the rent per month?). Use inclusief for included costs: *Is de verwarming inclusief?* (Is heating included?). The housing market in the Netherlands is very competitive!
