よくある間違い

  "entitled to"が正しく、"have the right of"とは言いません。

• ✗I want to make a complaint

  "file a complaint"がフォーマルな表現です。"make a complaint"はあまり専門的ではありません。

• ✗The product has a defect of fabrication
  ✓The product has a manufacturing defect

  "manufacturing defect"が正しく、"defect of fabrication"は不自然です。

• ✗I bought it since two weeks
  ✓I bought it two weeks ago

  過去の特定の時点には"ago"を使い、"since"は使いません。

• ✗I want to claim a refund for this product.
  ✓I want to request a refund for this product.

  英語のclaimは権利を主張する意味で、返金を求めるにはrequestを使います。

• ✗The product does not work good.
  ✓The product does not work well.

  動詞workを修飾するには形容詞goodではなく副詞wellを使います。
