Chiedere consigli in farmacia: "Could you recommend...?"
In farmacia è importante saper fare domande in modo cortese. In inglese si usano costruzioni con could e would per formulare richieste garbate.
Le formule chiave
- Could you recommend...? → Potrebbe consigliarmi... ?
- Could I have...? → Potrei avere... ?
- Is it safe to...? → È sicuro... ?
- How often should I take it? → Ogni quanto devo prenderlo?
- What are the side effects? → Quali sono gli effetti collaterali?
- Can I get this over the counter? → Posso averlo senza ricetta?
Esempi completi
- Could you recommend something for a sore throat?
→ Potrebbe consigliarmi qualcosa per il mal di gola?
- Is it safe to take this with antibiotics?
→ È sicuro prenderlo insieme agli antibiotici?
- How often should I take this painkiller?
→ Ogni quanto devo prendere questo antidolorifico?
Could vs Can
- Could è più cortese e formale → perfetto per rivolgersi a un farmacista
- Can è più diretto e comune → adatto tra amici
Consiglio B1
Usa sempre una formula cortese con un farmacista. Una domanda diretta come "Give me something for my cough" suona scortese.
