Writing to Persuade in Spanish

Persuasive writing combines logic, emotion, and credibility to influence the reader.

The three pillars of persuasion:
Logos (logic): Data, statistics, facts.

Pathos (emotion): Appeal to feelings.

Imaginen un mundo donde ningún niño pase hambre. (Imagine a world where no child goes hungry.)

Ethos (credibility): Establish the author's authority.

Como investigador con 20 años de experiencia... (As a researcher with 20 years of experience...)

Advanced argumentation structures:

No solo... sino que además... (Not only... but also...)
Si bien es cierto que..., no es menos cierto que... (While it is true that..., it is no less true that...)

Persuasive conclusion:

En vista de lo expuesto, resulta imperativo que... (In view of what has been presented, it is imperative that...)
