Writing an Online Review in Chinese
Chinese online reviews follow a clear structure: overall impression, details (pros/cons), recommendation.
Cause and effect connectors:
- 因为...所以... (yīnwèi...suǒyǐ...) — because... therefore...
- 因为服务很好，所以我很满意。(Yīnwèi fúwù hěn hǎo, suǒyǐ wǒ hěn mǎnyì.) — Because the service was great, I am very satisfied.
- 由于...导致... (yóuyú...dǎozhì...) — due to... leading to...
- 由于等待时间太长，导致体验很差。(Yóuyú děngdài shíjiān tài cháng, dǎozhì tǐyàn hěn chà.) — Due to the long wait, the experience was poor.
- 除了...以外，还... (chúle...yǐwài, hái...) — apart from... also...
- 除了价格贵以外，其他都很好。(Chúle jiàgé guì yǐwài, qítā dōu hěn hǎo.) — Apart from the price being high, everything else was great.
Review structure:
- 整体上来说，... — Overall,...
- 我会推荐/不会推荐 — I would/would not recommend

आम गलतियाँ
所以服务很好，因为我满意。因为服务很好，所以我很满意。因为 (because) always comes before the cause, 所以 (therefore) before the result — never swap their order.
除了停车，其他很好。除了停车不方便以外，其他都很好。除了 needs a complement (不方便) and the paired ending 以外 to complete the structure properly.
由于质量差，我失望。由于质量差，导致我很失望。由于 sets up a cause — always follow with 导致 (leading to) to introduce the consequence.
整体，我推荐。整体上来说，我非常推荐。整体 alone is incomplete — use 整体上来说 as the full phrase. Add a degree word like 非常 before the verb.
因此非常推荐去它。因此我非常推荐去那里。The subject (我) and location (那里) must be explicit — 它 refers to things, not places. Use 那里.
