Job Interview Language in Hindi
Talking about past experience (ergative construction):
- मैंने पाँच साल तक काम किया। — I worked for five years.
- मैंने एक बड़ी कंपनी में काम किया था। — I had worked at a big company.
Talking about strengths:
- मेरी सबसे बड़ी खूबी यह है कि... — My biggest strength is that...
- मैं टीम में अच्छा काम करता/करती हूँ। — I work well in a team.
- मैं बहुत मेहनती हूँ। — I am very hardworking.
Talking about goals:
- मेरा लक्ष्य है कि... — My goal is that...
- मैं इस क्षेत्र में आगे बढ़ना चाहता/चाहती हूँ। — I want to advance in this field.
Formal interview register: In interviews, use आप and formal verb forms:
- आप अपने बारे में बताइए। — Please tell us about yourself.
- आप यहाँ क्यों काम करना चाहते हैं? — Why do you want to work here?
