表达约定和折中
合租最需要的一项本事，是把规矩和让步说清楚。
"We agreed to..."
讲一个共同的决定：
"We agreed to split the bills equally." → "我们说好账单平摊。"
"We agreed to take turns cleaning the kitchen." → "我们说好轮流打扫厨房。"
agreed to 后面跟动词原形。
表达规矩
"We're not allowed to have pets." → "我们这儿不许养宠物。"
"Everyone is expected to clean up after themselves." → "每个人都得收拾好自己的东西。"
"The rule is that we take turns with the bins." → "规矩是轮流倒垃圾。"
表达折中
- How about we alternate weeks? → 要不我们隔周轮换？
- What if we split it differently? → 换个分法怎么样？
- I'm happy to... as long as you do your part. → 只要你做好你那份，我没问题。
as long as 引出一个条件：我做某件事，前提是你也做某件事。
注意 everyone 和 each 在英语里都是单数，配 is、has。汉语的「每个人」后面接什么都一样，所以这两个词是中文母语者常见的失分点。
表达
- We agreed to...讲一个共同做出的决定
- How about we...?提出一个方案
- As long as...提出一个条件
- What if we...?提出另一种做法
- The rule is that...说明一条已经定下的规矩
- To split the bills我们把账单平摊。
- To take turns我们轮流做饭。
- To set ground rules我们定下了几条基本规矩。
常见错误
We agreed splitting the billsWe agreed to split the billsagree 后面跟 to + 动词原形，不跟动名词。
How about to alternate weeks?How about we alternate weeks?how about 后面跟主语加动词，或者跟动名词，不加 to。
I'm happy to do it as far as you helpI'm happy to do it as long as you helpas long as 是只要，as far as 是就……而言，两个别混。
