让别人做某事（使役 have / get）
搬家时很多活儿是请人做的，英语有专门的结构：have/get something done。
"have something done"
事情是别人替你做的：
"I had the walls painted last week." → "上周我请人把墙刷了。"
"We had the locks changed before moving in." → "搬进来之前我们请人换了锁。"
结构：have + 宾语 + 过去分词
"get something done"
意思一样，语气更随意：
"I got the carpet cleaned yesterday." → "昨天我把地毯送去洗了。"
"We need to get the internet installed." → "我们得找人来装网。"
结构：get + 宾语 + 过去分词
跟自己动手的区别
- I painted the walls. → 我自己刷的
- I had the walls painted. → 我请人刷的
汉语靠「请人」「找人」这几个字把意思说出来，英语靠语序：宾语放中间，动词变成过去分词。少了这一步，句子就变成你自己动手了。
几个常用形式
- I'm having the kitchen renovated. → 正在进行
- I'm going to have the floors done. → 打算做
- I need to get the boiler fixed. → 需要做
表达
- I had the walls painted说明墙是请专业的人刷的
- I need to get... installed需要请人来安装
- We're still settling in说明自己还在安顿中
- The deposit was...谈租房的押金
- We moved in last week说明什么时候搬进来的
- To settle in我花了一阵子才安顿好。
- To move out我室友下个月搬走。
- To sign a lease我们昨天签了租约。
常见错误
I had painted the walls (by someone)I had the walls paintedI had painted 是过去完成时，意思是自己刷的；使役结构是 have + 宾语 + 过去分词。
I got the plumber to fixed the tapI got the plumber to fix the tapgot someone to 后面跟动词原形，不加 -ed。
I need to have install the internetI need to have the internet installed使役结构的语序是 have + 宾语 + 过去分词。
We moved at SaturdayWe moved on Saturday星期几前面用 on，不用 at。
I moved in my new flat since MondayI moved into my new flat on Monday搬进某个地方用 move into，具体某一天用 on。
The rent is too much expensiveThe rent is too expensivetoo 和 much 不能一起放在形容词前面。
