• 涉及利益冲突时，必须主动申报When there is a conflict of interest, one must proactively declare it — 主动 emphasizes voluntary action
• 任何不当行为均应予以举报Any misconduct should be reported — 均 means without exception, and 予以 is a formal verb-supporting structure
• 公司鼓励员工举报违规行为The company encourages employees to report rule violations — used to describe whistleblowing culture and policy

常见错误

• ✗这个行为是违背职业道德的。
  ✓此行为有悖于职业道德。

  Use the formal pattern 有悖于 instead of 违背 for formal ethical discussions. Also prefer 此 over 这个 in formal written Chinese, and avoid the colloquial 是…的 structure

• ✗员工必须应当遵守规定。
  ✓员工必须遵守规定。

  必须 and 应当 both express obligation but cannot be stacked together. Choose one: 必须 for a strict requirement, 应当 for a moral expectation

• ✗有利益冲突的时候，要告诉老板。
  ✓涉及利益冲突时，必须主动申报。

  Use 涉及 (when involving) instead of 有…的时候, and 申报 (formally declare) instead of 告诉老板. Formal ethics language requires specific institutional vocabulary
