应该/不应该 — should / should not 我们应该节约用水。 — We should conserve water. 我们不应该乱扔垃圾。 — We should not litter. 应该 expresses moral obligation; 不应该 = should not.
为了...而... — in order to... 为了保护环境，我们应该回收垃圾。 — In order to protect the environment, we should recycle waste. 为了 introduces purpose; the result clause follows.
造成污染 — to cause pollution 汽车尾气造成了空气污染。 — Car exhaust has caused air pollution. 造成 = to cause/result in (usually negative outcomes).
减少碳排放 — to reduce carbon emissions 减少碳排放对气候变化很重要。 — Reducing carbon emissions is important for climate change. 减少 + noun = to reduce; 对...重要 = important for.
